The province has great potential for developing marine aquaculture as it has a coastline of more than 100km, and clean sea water with high and consistent salinity.

The south-central province of Ninh Thuận is focusing on farming high-value marine fish, lobsters and bivalve mollusc to improve farmers' incomes.
