(LSO) – Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Thach (born 1987), Man Duong B village, Mai Sao commune, Chi Lang district is honored to represent Lang Son farmers to receive the title of “Excellent Vietnamese Farmer” in 2020.

According to the Decision signed by the Chairman of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Farmers Association dated August 25, 2020, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Farmers Association decided to award the title of “Excellent Vietnamese Farmer” 2020 for 63 typical farmers, representing 63 provinces and cities nationwide.

It is known that 63 excellent farmers this time were selected from 149 profiles nominating typical farmers. Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Thach is honored to represent Lang Son farmers to receive this title.

Mr. Thach started raising New Zealand rabbits in 2012. After 8 years of implementation, up to now, Mr. Thach’s rabbit raising model has been in stable operation with an area of ​​over 700 m2, with more than 5,000 rabbits. Each month, Mr. Thach sells more than 1 thousand rabbits, for 170,000 VND/rabbit for meat, 100,000 VND/kg of breed rabbit.

Mr. Thach’s rabbit raising model has become a highly efficient economic development model. On average, a year, Mr. Thach earns over 700 million VND after excluding expenses.

In addition to creating jobs and increasing income for his family, Mr. Thach has created regular jobs for 3 local workers with stable income of 5 million VND and higher.

It is expected that the ceremony to honor and award the title of “Excellent Vietnamese Farmer” in 2020 will be held in mid-October 2020 in Hanoi capital.
